Pomai Kulolo is owned and operated by the Kekaula sibilings: Keanue, Pomai, Rose, and Ashlin.

Pomai Kulolo began originally in 2007, when Keanue Kekaula used a family recipe to begin making his kulolo and sold it roadside at various locations throughout the island.  Seeing the great response to his kulolo, Keanue decided to offer haupia as well as his own original creation, haulolo.  Both products were very well received.  With encouragement from his many dedicated customers, Keanue decided to take his business to higher level and began selling in farmer’s markets throughout Oahu.  Now, as the business has continued to grow and customers continue to love his products, he is in the process of selling in supermarkets as well.

While Keanue continues to be the driving force behind Pomai Kulolo, he credits much of his success to those by his side who have and continue to help operate the business.

Just had some of your Uala poi for the first time — now that was so ono!!! Really loved it! Is this sold at Times Supermarket? How about the Farmer’s Market (Windward Mall)? I always take up your taro poi to my little grandson in San Diego. I’ll be going again soon and would love to take up the Uala poi as well. Also can this be frozen?
    Mahalo!

Aloha Liane! Thank you so much for your support. I am glad you enjoyed the Uala Poi. We do not currently sell Uala poi at Times and mostly only sell whatever we have extra from the Food Distrubtion at the farmers market. Uala poi does freeze well. Let me know if you have any other questions: amy@pomaikulolo.com

Yes we do ship, but it is quite pricy due to overnight shipping. About $13/lb to include the overnight shipping. If you are interested, send me an email at amy@pomaikulolo.com
